Police arrest main accused of Meerut molestation case

Meerut (Uttar Pradesh), Mar 23 (ANI): Meerut police arrested the main accused in a case where four youth allegedly molested a school student. The video of the incident has been made viral. Speaking to ANI, SSP of Meerut, Nitin Tiwari said, "A viral video was brought to our notice in which a girl student was being molested by a boy, a few boys can also be seen. It's a 15-20 days old video, was made viral yesterday. Taking suo motu cognizance we have registered an FIR, have also arrested main accused."

Gurguram mob attack: One accused arrested, probe underway, says DCP

Gurugram (Haryana), Mar 23 (ANI): Speaking to mediapersons on the recent Gurugram mob attack, DCP South Gurugram Himanshu Garg informed that one person involved in the brawl has been arrested and further investigation is underway. Garg said, "On March 21 on the day of Holi an altercation took place between two groups. As soon as police received information, police rushed to the spot, we took statements of the injured persons. Based on the statements of the injured, a communal case has been registered in Bhondsi police station. Investigations have been kicked in and one person has been arrested. We are trying to find facts about the case and action will be taken soon on the basis of facts and evidences." Preliminary information says that the root cause of altercation was a cricket match which was played and allegedly a ball hit a person and some verbal dual ensued which ultimately led to an altercation which escalated to violence and that led to injuries, said DCP Garg.

Gurugram mob attack: Victim family narrates ordeal

Gurugram (Haryana), Mar 23 (ANI): A family in Gurugram was attacked by a mob and mercilessly beaten up with sticks and 'bhaalas' (spears) allegedly over a cricket game on Holi. The incident happened near Bhondsi village and has left many members of the family injured. One of the victims said, "On Holi, the children were playing cricket when two youth came on a bike and asked what were we doing and when I said we are playing cricket they said that we should go to Pakistan. After which they started beating me and left and came back again with 10-15 youth. All entered my house and started beating up everyone." Another victim Samina said, "We were making food for some guests when suddenly the mob entered our home. They beat me up with sticks when I tried to stop them. I asked them what has happened. But they said "aaj in mulloh ko chodna nahi" (don't leave these Muslims today). They went upstairs, broke windows and doors and thrashed everyone brutally."

LS polls: NDA announces name of candidates in Bihar

Patna (Bihar), Mar 23 (ANI): NDA announced name of candidates in Bihar for Lok Sabha election 2019. As per the NDA seat-sharing formula, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal United will contest 17 seats each, while remaining six would be fought by the Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJP). BJP in-charge for Bihar, Bhupendra Yadav announced the list. Ravi Shankar Prasad would be BJP's candidate from Patna Sahib. Minister of State Giriraj Singh is to contest from Begusarai. Facebook bug exposed your passwords in plaintext

New Delhi, Mar 23 (ANI): Facebook acknowledged that a bug caused hundreds of millions of user passwords, some dating back to 2012, to be stored as readable text internally. The passwords include those for both Facebook and Instagram. According to reports, Facebook claims the passwords were not accessible outside the company. This basically means they were anyway accessible to Facebook employees. However, Facebook says there is no evidence of employees abusing the loophole or improperly accessing the passwords. The company is notifying Facebook Lite, Facebook, and Instagram users that their passwords may have been exposed. Whether or not you were part of those millions of impacted users, it is advisable to change the passwords immediately across services.

Villagers of Shivamogga's Kanagalasara complain of housefly infestation

They have complained of house fly infestation to authorities. They reached to their and took action towards it.
