CM Kejriwal attends 1st board meeting of Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University

New Delhi, Oct 12 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal attended first board meeting of Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University. CM believes that the university will provide job-oriented education to students. "The first board meeting of Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University was held today. I met all the Board members. The objective of the University is to ensure that the students who pass out from here get the jobs they want," said Arvind Kejriwal.

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), Oct 12 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP), Dilbag Singh on October 12 said in 2020, 75 successful operations have been done in JandK in which 180 terrorists were killed. He said, "10 terrorists killed in 4 operations in last 5 days. Today's operation killed Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Saifullah, a Pakistani who was involved in 3 major attacks in which 3 CRPF personnel died. This year there've been 75 successful operations in which 180 terrorists have been killed. Separately, 138 terrorists and their associates have been arrested. This year's operations achievements have set records."

Ladakh will have 30-40 more bridges for better connectivity: BRO DG

New Delhi, Oct 12 (ANI): Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated 44 bridges on October 12 made by Border Roads Organisation (BRO) across seven States/Union Territories. While speaking to ANI, Border Roads Organisation (BRO), DG, Lt Gen Harpal Singh said, "We've sped up conversion of temporary bridges into permanent bridges. This year we're going three times our capacity. It'll help in economic growth, infrastructure development, tourism, andspeedier movement of our strategic forces." "In Ladakh, a large number of bridges are being constructed. About 30-40 bridges are under construction which will be completed between 6 months to one and a half years," he added.

Trains between CSMT-Panvel resumed on Harbour Line: Mumbai's Central Railway CPRO

Mumbai, Oct 12 (ANI): Electricity supply was interrupted in Mumbai on October 12 due to TATA's incoming electric supply failure causing power loss all over Mumbai and suburbs. It also disrupted train traffic of Central, Eastern and Western lines, according to Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST). Speaking to ANI, the Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Central Railway in Mumbai, Shivaji M Sutar said, "Trains between CSMT-Panvel on Harbour Line have resumed. We are trying to restore services between CSMT-Kalyan, CSMT-Karjat/Kasara." "Long-distance trains from Mumbai rescheduled and incoming trains regulated at interchange points," CPRO added.

Rajnath Singh dedicates 44 bridges constructed by BRO to nation

New Delhi, Oct 12 (ANI): Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh laid foundation stone for Nechiphu Tunnel on road to Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh via video conferencing. Defence Minister also inaugurated 44 bridges on October 12 made by Border Roads Organisation (BRO) across seven States/Union Territories, via video-conferencing. 1 held for illegal possession of explosives in Jharkhand's Pakur

Pakur (Jharkhand), Oct 12 (ANI): Jharkhand police has arrested one person in illegal possession of explosives from Hiranpur area of Pankur. The incident happened on Oct 11. Protesters block railway tracks in Hooghly, demand train services
