Watch: IAF's Apache helicopter carries out night operations near China border

Undisclosed location, Jul 07(ANI): Indian Air Force (IAF) Apache attack helicopter, at a forward airbase near India-China border, carried out night operations. These attack helicopters are fully loaded with fire-and-forget anti tank guided missiles, air to air missiles, rockets and other ammunitions. Apache helicopters also have modern Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities to provide versatility to the helicopter in a network centric aerial warfare. These aircrafts have been modified specifically to suit the exacting standards demanded by IAF.

Watch: IAF's MiG-29 roars in night operations near China border

Undisclosed location, Jul 07(ANI): Indian Air Force's MiG-29 fighter aircraft conducted night operations at a forward airbase near India-China border. Chinook heavylift helicopter also joined the night operation. The Indian Air Force has significantly enhanced deployment of frontline jets, attack helicopters and transport fleet in its key bases along the Line of Actual Control. The air activities in the Ladakh area and other places along the China border had gone up extensively soon after the Galwan valley clash on June 15 in which 20 Indian Army personnel lost their lives.

Samsung may launch Galaxy Note 20 series on August 5: Report

New Delhi, Jul 07 (ANI): Samsung may launch its new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series on August 5, according to a report. As per Mashable, the new report comes from credible tipster UniverseIce who has given accurate reports on upcoming Samsung devices in the past. According to the report, the launch event will take place on August 5. This corroborates with a previous report by Jon Prosser. Apart from the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, is also expected. While initial rumours suggested the launch of a 'Galaxy Fold Lite', a new report suggests that the launch might have been pushed to 2021 now. Private labs gear up with drive-thru COVID testing facilities as cases swell in national capital

New Delhi, June 26 (ANI): With a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases seen in Delhi and the introduction of new protocols by Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal and the Arvind Kejriwal-led government to aggressively increase COVID testing in the nation's capital, private labs too have scaled up their operations to aid in this fight against the coronavirus. One such private lab in Delhi has increased its testing facilities by establishing additional drive-through sample collection centers for COVID-19 testing. India witnesses highest single-day spike of 17,296 fresh COVID cases

New Delhi, June 26 (ANI): 407 deaths and highest single-day spike of 17,296 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in India in the last 24 hours. Positive cases in India stand at 4,90,401 including 1,89,463 active cases,2,85,637cured/discharged/migrated and 15301 deaths. Confirmed cases have reached 1,47,741 in Maharashtra. Total number of samples tested up to 25 June is 77,76,228.

Shajapur (MP), Jun 26(ANI): Heavy rainfall damaged wheat crop in multiple centers of MP's Shajapur on June 26. The wheat was stored for the purpose of being sent to fair price wheat purchase centers. Wheat in around 25 centers not only got drenched in rain but some of it even got rotten. District Cooperative Bank, CEO AK Harsola said, "If it wasn't kept properly, it's responsibility of concerned Society. We have directed to dry wheat that's not rotten, after which it will be transported. 3000 MT of wheat yet to be sent to centers."

Delhi's 5-star hotel turns into COVID-19 care centre for patients

New Delhi, June 24 (ANI): Five-star deluxe Hotel Suryaa of Delhi has been turned into COVID care centre amid coronavirus pandemic. All medical facilities will be made available to the patients in the five-star hotel. The Suryaa Hotel has been attached to the Holy Family Hospital to share the coronavirus caseload and to keep more hospital beds free for severe patients amid a spike in the number of cases in the national capital. Delhi is one of the worst-affected places by coronavirus. It will now have more beds for COVID-19 patients. There are 23,820 active cases of coronavirus in Delhi.

IOS 14, IPadOS 14 allow user to set default email, browser apps

New Delhi, June 24 (ANI): Apple has rolled out a new feature that allows iPhone and iPad users to change the default email and browser applications in the new iOS 14 and iPadOS 14. According to The Verge, the company revealed the change during a WWDC keynote on Tuesday. Apple did not elaborate on the detail of the change but a new section of the iOS 14 preview page comes with an option of 'set a default web browser and email app that launch when you click a link or want to compose a new mail message.' The mobile company has confirmed to The Verge that the developers need to update the applications for the devices to support the new feature.

Arms, ammunitions recovered in JandK's Poonch under joint operation

Repair work resumes of Gandak dam after consensus between India and Nepal
