Kurukshetra (Haryana), Feb 19 (ANI): An incident of ammonia gas leak was reported from a cold store in Haryana's Kurukshetra on February 18. Several people are affected and got fainted in Nalvi village at Shahabad of Kurukshetra. The affected people were admitted to the Community Health Center in Shahabad. Panic stricken people complained of breathlessness and a few started vomiting due to gas leakage. The incident took place around 09:30 pm when ammonia gas from Hargobind Cold Store at Shahabad-Thol road leaked and spread to the nearby areas.

New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): In a recent study, researchers report a steady decline in heart attacks in both men and women enrolled in the US health system from 2000 to 2014. However, the rate of decline slowed among women in the last five years of the study. The study was published in the American Heart Association journal Circulation. The research showed the rate of heart attacks and an overall decline by nearly 50 per cent between 2000 and 2014. Researchers said the overall declines in heart attacks reflect a national trend of decreasing heart attack rates and may be due in part to increased use of medications, such as statins, and lifestyle changes. Research suggested that the takeaway message from the research is that women especially should talk with their doctors to find out what they can do to reduce their risk of heart attacks.

According to WHO, laboratory testing kits have been dispatched to 34 countries. COVID-19 was first detected in Wuhan in late December and since then has spread to over 20 other countries.
Imphal (Manipur), Feb 19 (ANI): The 4th one month free residential Judo coaching camp was organised in Manipur's Imphal. It was conducted by Mayai Lambi Sports Academy. The coaching camp began at Khuman Indoor Stadium from January 27 and will culminate on February 27. Imphal has been working in promoting sportsmanship spirit and bringing more laurels for the state. The Judo Federation of India has been extending support in establishing the JFI Judo training centre of the country in Manipur. New Delhi, Feb 18 (ANI): Congress MP Manish Tewari said on February 18 that there is a need to revisit what liberalization means for India politically. "There are some fundamental issues, ideological in nature, which have been bedeviling Congress for a while. It's Congress which presided over the socialist dogma from 1947 to 1991. In 1991, Congress oversaw liberalization and globalization of economy," said Tewari. "While economy moved from socialism to more social equity based model, we couldn't make that transformation politically. Manesar (Haryana), Feb 18 (ANI): 248 people, who are among the Indian nationals who were evacuated from China's Wuhan and were quarantined at Manesar Army camp, have been allowed to go home after being tested negative for coronavirus. Major General R Datta told ANI that all the quarantined people were healthy since they were evacuated and the doctors did daily check-ups.
