Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh), Oct 22 (ANI): The festive season poses a problem for the Health Department across nation. The District Food and Supplies Department has seized four vehicles with adulterated food items in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida on October 21. Adulterated 'Paneer' worth Rs 10 lakh was seized from four vehicles. The quantity of the paneer was around 4000 kg. The entire operation was conducted under the supervision of SDM Dadri and District Administrator of GautamBuddha Nagar. While speaking to ANI, the Food Safety Officer Rakesh Kumar said, "There were four vehicles in which we have seized around 4000 kg of 'paneer'. The amount of 'paneer' is worth Rs 10 Lakh. The seize operation was conducted under the supervision of SDM Dadri and District Administrator of Gautambuddha Nagar." "We have taken the samples and will send it into laboratories for check-up. Kolkata, Oct 22 (ANI): Governor of West Bengal Jagdeep Dhankhar tirade his guns at the state government after his meeting with state officials was cancelled citing the absence of permission from state government. Dhankhar said, "Is it an appropriate step to be taken, that when the government of that state wants to meet someone there has to be censorship? There has to be approval? There is permission from the state government? I am no subordinate to the state government." Jagdeep Dhankhar had called for a meeting on October 22 with state officials such as Member of Parliaments (MP) and District Magistrate (DM). His meeting could not be arranged without the permission of state government.

New Delhi, Oct 22 (ANI): Samsung has announced that with Android 10 update, its smartphones will not support Linux on DeX beta program. DeX which turns Samsung phone into a PC, will not be supported using the open-source OS as a desktop environment for Linux, Engadget reports. It isn't clear why Samsung is shutting down Linux support as it was the only way for fans to run the full-fledged Ubuntu Linux desktop OS on their phone. Meanwhile, Samsung recently enabled desktop-style Macs and Windows PCs spaces for DeX.
New Delhi, Oct 22 (ANI): A recent study has discovered that the human body starts getting resistant to antibiotics for treating harmful bacteria for a variety of stomach conditions, and the changes have more than doubled in 20 years. Antibiotic resistance occurs when bacteria develop the ability to survive exposure to medications designed to kill or halt their growth. It is one of the greatest threats to global health today, causing more than 750,000 deaths every year and, without urgent action, this number is expected to rise dramatically in the future. The research was presented today at UEG Week Barcelona 2019. The study analysed 1,232 patients from 18 countries across Europe, investigated resistance to antibiotics regularly taken for 'helicobacter pylori' (H. pylori) infection, a harmful bacterium associated with gastric ulcer, lymphoma, and gastric cancer. Ladakh, Oct 21 (ANI): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated 'Colonel Chewang Rinchen Bridge' at Shyok River in Ladakh on October 21. Speaking on the shared border of India and China, Singh said, "India shares cordial relations with China. There are perceptional differences between both the countries on boundary issue but the issue has been handled with great maturity and responsibly. Srinagar (J-K), Oct 21 (ANI): After Indian Army destroyed three terror camps in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and killed 6-10 Pakistan soldiers in response to the repeated ceasefire violations by Pakistan, Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik said, India will completely destroy all the terrorist camps, and if they don't get rid of it, we will inter PoK to get the job done.
