New Delhi, June 19 (ANI): External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar meets Deputy PM of Russia Yury Trutnev in Delhi on Wednesday. The Russian delegation includes the heads of ministries, senior officials, as well as leading business figures in the field of mining, woodworking, pulp and paper, food and beverage industries, agriculture and transport logistics. The two countries known for sharing close ties in terms of defence sector are expected to hold talks to boost bilateral trade in other avenues also.
Bardhaman (West Bengal), June 19 (ANI): The team of West Bengal's Kanksa Police recovered a bag containing six country-made bombs from WB's Bardhaman district today. They recovered bomb from the house of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader namely Jhantu Gorai. The incident took place at Panagarh Bajar area of Burdwan District. BJP leader alleged that those bombs were planted by Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers at his residence to defame him. On the other side, TMC leaders denied all accusations of Jhantu Gorai.
Muzaffarpur (Bihar), Jun 19 (ANI): Dr Sunil Kumar Shahi, Superintendent at Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur on AES cases said, "68 children are in ICU, 65 are in the ward, today number of deaths is 5. Recovery rate is increasing because parents are bringing their children early." Various political parties have gathered at the Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) where the mind fever has claimed over 90 lives. Earlier today, hospital's Superintendent Dr Sunil Kumar Shahi has advised the workers of all political parties, who were coming at the hospital to instead go on grounds and spread awareness about the disease, and help those affected.

New Delhi, Jun 19 (ANI): Leaders from various political parties attended the all-party meeting on one nation one election issue, which was called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. Opposition leaders such as Sitaram Yechury, Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and Sharad Pawar attended the meeting. Chief Ministers of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, Naveen Patnaik and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, respectively attended the meeting. Congress skipped the meeting citing their opposition to the idea of holding simultaneous polls. Other leaders who chose not to be a part of the meeting were West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, DMK president MK Stalin among other opposition parties.
Agra (Uttar Pradesh), June 19 (ANI): A woman who was allegedly denied entry in Agra's hospital, delivered baby in front of the health centre in Uttar Pradesh's Agra today. The incident took place at Sarojini Naidu Medical College in Agra. Her family members alleged that the officials denied admitting her in the hospital. The woman and her baby are safe now. Later, she was admitted to the hospital for medical treatment. While speaking to ANI, Chief Medical Officer of Agra Dr Mukesh Kumar Vatsa said, "Prima facia seems to be staff's mistake. I will seek her suspension and will transfer her soon."

Amritsar (Punjab)/ Moradabad/Kanpur (UP)/, Jun 19 (ANI): The Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) outbreak in Bihar's Muzaffarpur where more than 115 children have died due to the 'Chamki', have again put the spotlight on the poor conditions of government hospitals in the country. The Guru Nanak Government Hospital in Amritsar, besides lacking the obvious infrastructure to handle patients in bulk, is suffering from poor hygiene as pile of garbage could be seen inside the hospital premises where both patients and their relatives wait. The same is true for a district hospital in Moradabad, where patients are lying on dirty bed sheets and unhygienic conditions have become an everyday's thing. At UHM government hospital in Kanpur, patients and their relatives are suffering from poor health services. A patient's relative told ANI that hospital is lacking ambulance services and didn't have adequate number of doctors.

Muzaffarpur (UP), June 19 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh on Wednesday reacted on Muzaffarpur children death due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES). He showed his dissatisfaction and aggression by saying that there are no basic facilities in Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital and it is like hell."Nobody can roam in the hospital without covering their nose, there is no beds, fans and water facility in the hospital, and is that a hospital?," asked Singh. Death toll due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) in Bihar's Muzaffarpur rose over to 105. As many as over 80 children have died in Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital. AES is a viral disease, which causes mild flu-like symptoms such as high fever, and headache.
New Delhi, June 19 (ANI): Reacting on recent draft of a new ordinance cleared by Uttar Pradesh's cabinet, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya said, "No anti-national activity would be tolerated in any educational institution of the country. "He further added, "Yes, our cabinet has taken a decision that only education should be imparted in the educational institutions and no anti-national activity will be tolerated." The draft of a new ordinance cleared by Yogi Adityanath's cabinet on Tuesday mandates new and existing private universities in Uttar Pradesh to submit an undertaking that their campuses will not be allowed to be a place of 'anti-national activities in any way'.

"I humbly request all political workers to go to places from where patients are coming and spread awareness. Right now they are not needed at the hospital. I request them to go to the periphery," Dr Shahi told ANI.
Sambhal (UP), June 19 (ANI): Eight persons including two children died in a road accident in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. 12 more people got injured in the road rash. The incident took place near Lahrawan village of Bahjoi area, when a speeding container truck collided with another vehicle last night.Sambhal's Superintendent of Police, Yamuna Prasad told ANI, "8 people died on the spot and 12 others got injured. Condition of some injured is reported to be critical. All injured were admitted to a nearby hospital."
