New Delhi, Mar 03 (ANI): While addressing at the 'Pratheeksha 2030' Summit on in the national capital on March 02, former prime minister Manmohan Singh said, "Temporary measures by the Government of India and Reserve Bank to paper over the credit problems can not blind us to the looming credit crisis ahead that could affect the small and medium sector." "Unemployment is high and the informal sector is in shambles, a crisis precipitated by the ill-considered demonetisation decision taken in 2016," he added. "In Kerala and many other states, public finances are in disarray with states having to resort to excessive borrowing, which creates an intolerable burden on future budgets," Manmohan Singh further stated.

Bill allowing 75% reservation in private jobs approved in Haryana: CM Khattar

Chandigarh, Mar 02 (ANI): Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on March 02 announced that a bill allowing 75% reservation in private jobs has been approved. "Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya has approved a bill allowing 75% reservation in private jobs. The government will notify it soon," said CM Khattar. Singhu Border, Mar 02 (ANI): Swaraj India president Yogendra Yadav on March 02, appealed voters of poll-bound states to punish BJP and its allies for bringing "anti-farmer laws". "In the Assembly elections, we will appeal to people to punish this party (BJP) and its allies who brought anti-farmer laws. We will go to the boll-bound states. This programme will begin in Kolkata on March 12 with a public meeting. In a meeting with 10 major trade unions, it was decided in-principle that farmers and labourers will fight this battle together. 'No evidence of cyber-attacks during Mumbai's power outage': RK Singh

New Delhi, Mar 02 (ANI): Union Power Minister RK Singh on March 02 said that there is "no evidence of cyber-attacks by China" during Mumbai's power outage that happened in October 2020. RK Singh said, "Two teams investigated the power outage and submitted that the outage was caused by human error and not due to cyber attack. One of the teams submitted that cyber attack did happen but they were not linked to the Mumbai grid failure. Cyber attacks happened on our northern and southern region load dispatch centres but they (malware) could not reach our operating system. Maharashtra Home Minister has informed that cyber-attacks happened on their SCADA system in Mumbai. We don't have evidence to say that the cyber-attacks were carried out by China or Pakistan. New Delhi, Mar 01 (ANI): Addressing a webinar on agricultural budget, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India of 21st century needs post-harvest or food processing revolution and value addition amid increasing agriculture production. "It would have been good for the country had this been done 2-3 decades back," he added. Speaking on steps undertaken for agriculture in Budget 2021-22, PM Modi informed that government has increased the agriculture credit target to Rs 16.50 lakh crore while the Micro-irrigation fund has been doubled. "In the agriculture budget, animal husbandry, dairying and fisheries sectors have been given priority. Rural infrastructure fund raised to Rs 40,000 crore," he added.
