Mathura (UP), July 05(ANI): Accusing Uttar Pradesh Congress Vice President Yogesh Dixit of molestation, state's Mahila Congress President Preeti Tiwari on July 04 alleged that there is no respect for women in the party under the leadership of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Terming Yogesh Dixit 'mannerless' and accusing him of disrespecting women, Preeti Tiwari left the party's training camp at Govind Vihar Ashram of Vrindavan on July 04. She left the premises saying, "This is happening under Priyanka Gandhi's leadership, there is no respect for women." She added, "These people have no manners. State Vice President Yogesh Dixit has no manners."

Sivaganga (TN), July 05(ANI): The famous, centuries-old fishing festival celebrated at Sivaganga in Tamil Nadu on July 04. Flouting the COVID SOPs, hundreds of people from four villages gathered in large numbers to celebrate the annual festival. With no mask, no social distancing, they were seen celebrating the festival. The fish that are caught during the festival are cooked and offered to the deity for better harvest and health. Tamil Nadu reported 3,867 new COVID cases with 72 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Shivamogga (Karnataka), July 05 (ANI): An entrepreneur Suresh Kumar from Bengaluru has converted 21 acres of barren land into a thick forest over the last 10 years with the help of renowned environmentalist Akhilesh Chipli. Hundreds of birds, reptiles, and wild animals roam in the forest created on the private land which is now covered by innumerable varieties of plants. Speaking to ANI, Akhilesh Chipli said, "This forest is named as Usha Kirana (Morning sun rays) a green initiative model. Ten years ago it was like a desert. Now it is covered in green. An entrepreneur from Bengaluru Suresh Kumar purchased the land after the earlier owner harvested the eucalyptus and Acacia trees."
Noida (UP), July 05 (ANI): UP government on July 02 further eased the COVID-19 restrictions and allowed the opening of gymnasiums, cinema halls, multiplexes and sports stadiums at 50 percent of their capacity from July 05. Shahdol (Madhya Pradesh), July 02 (ANI): Jamui village in Shahdol district has become the first gram panchayat in Madhya Pradesh to achieve the target of 100% vaccination of all residence. The Jamui village has a population of 3200, and out of it, 1855 are 18+. The villagers eliminated the rumours and apprehensions about COVID vaccine and achieved the target. 6 other gram panchayats in Shahdol district have also achieved 100% vaccination.
Ganderbal (JandK), July 1(ANI): Central Kashmir's Ganderbal is witnessing a remarkable change in routine military affairs. To ensure safety and security in the region, Indian Army has deployed women soldiers of Assam Rifles. Riflewomen have been deployed for MVCP (Mobile Vehicle Check Post). Speaking to ANI, Col R S Karakoti, Co 34 Assam Rifles said, "These Rifle women have been a force multiplier and they have been bridging the gap between army and Awaam and we are using them in other operations as we use our riflemen. Local citizens have been coning and reaching out to these riflewomen and developing a special relationship with the army."

Shimla Superintendent of Police condemned the cop's action and said, "Even if the people are not behaving well the police officials should not react in this way and they should deal it calmly". "Team India includes healthcare workers and citizens. Both have a responsibility towards managing COVID19," said Dr Wig. "100 percent vaccination, clean masks and no mass gatherings can ensure a lower positivity rate. Healthcare workers take a lot of pressure; have to maintain work-life balance.
