New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): A Delhi court announced fresh date for execution of all the four convicts of 2012 Delhi gang-rape case. Convicts will be executed on March 3 at 6 AM. The earlier death warrants for all 4 convicts was January 22 and Feb 01, but were deferred in view of pending legal remedies of the convicts. A 23-year-old paramedical student was brutally raped on the evening of December 16, 2012. She succumbed later to her injuries.
Jaipur (Rajasthan), February 17 (ANI):A review meeting with district collectors was recently organized at Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's office through video conferencing in Jaipur. In the meeting, CM reviewed the availability of medicines in the Chief Minister's Free Medicine Scheme, the status of medical devices in hospitals, immunization and status of cases registered in Chief Minister's public hearing and on Sampark Portal. The CM said that it is a serious matter if people come to the capital for small things related to the common man. In such cases, responsibility should be fixed for the officers and employees whose negligence is established. Hyderabad, Feb 17 (ANI): AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi requested Telangana Chief Minister KCR to put a stay on NPR in the state, saying the exercise is precursor to the implementation of the NRC. "I request Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao to put a stay on National Population Register enumeration as Kerala did. NPR has no relation with the census and social welfare schemes. It is purely an exercise to implement NRC in the future," said Owaisi.
Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Feb 17 (ANI): After the CAG report stated that 25 rifles were missing with 12,061 live cartridges, the Kerala Crime Branch conducted a physical verification of rifles at Police Chief Store in Thiruvananthapuram on February 17. After conducting the physical verification, Crime Branch ADGP Tomin J Thachankary said, "We checked each rifles along with the issuance of police chief store. And the investigation team were satisfied themselves that none of the rifles are missing. 13 rifles are now used in Manipur by the IR Betalian, we called them over the video phone we saw the body numbers. We checked it with records and we are satisfied that those rifles are also belong to this group." The CAG reports on the audit of weapons in Kerala Police have found that 25 rifles and 12,061 live cartridges are missing from Special Armed Police Battalion (SAPB) in Kerala.

New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): Tata-SIA joint venture airline Vistara said its codeshare pact with the US carrier United Airlines has come into effect from last Friday. Codesharing allows an airline to book its passengers on its partner carriers and provide seamless travel to destinations where it has no presence. The codeshare agreement enables United Airlines to put its 'UA' designator code on 68 Vistara-operated flights to 26 destinations every day, including but not limited to Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Goa, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur and Varanasi.
New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): Foreign currency worth Rs 43 lakh was recovered from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on February 17. It was seized by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel from possession of a man named Mohammad Arshi. Foreign currency was concealed in perfume cans and cloth pouches. The passenger was later handed over to the customs department.

New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): Meenakshi Lekhi, Advocate and BJP leader on SC's announcement on permanent commission granted to all women officers stated that all women officers will get equal rights that only men officers were getting. "Government's political will has been implemented. Now, the court has implemented it and flaked the authorities who were not implementing it. Now, women officers will get equal rights that only men officers were getting," said Meenakshi Lekhi. Supreme Court today announced that women officers in Army said that the permanent commission will apply to all women officers in the Army in service, irrespective of their years of service.
