Supreme Court also said in its order that the medical reports said that Vinay is psychologically fit and his medical condition is stable.

VHP workers protested against Valentine's Day like every year in many parts of the state to stop couples from celebrating the day of love. Bengaluru, Feb 14 (ANI): Commissioner of Police of Bengaluru, Bhaskar Rao informed that 5 people have been arrested for fraud in online marketplaces. He said, "We registered 316 cases for cheating through online marketplaces last year. We've busted a gang operating from Rajasthan's Bharatpur and arrested 5 people. They are responsible for 200 out of 316 cases. We are questioning the accused."
New Delhi, Feb 14 (ANI): Equity benchmark gauges were in the positive zone during early hours on Friday taking cues from Asian markets with buying in banking and technology stocks. At 10:15 am, the BSE SandP Sensex edged higher by 74 points to 41,534 while the Nifty 50 ticked up by 21 points at 12,196. All sectoral indices at the National Stock Exchange were in the green with Nifty PSU bank and IT up by 0.7 per cent each. Among stocks, Yes Bank added gains of 6.4 per cent at Rs 39.60 per share after the troubled private sector lender said it has received nonbinding expressions of interest from several prominent investors. Tata Motors was up by 3.5 per cent at Rs 175.40 while UPL advanced by 2 per cent at Rs 590.85. The other prominent gainers were Grasim, UltraTech Cement, Asian Paints, Bharat Petroleum Corporation and HCL Technologies.

Prominent figures and twitter users paid homage to valorous jawans. A year back on this day, India shed tears after over 40 CRPF personnel were killed after their convoy was targeted by suicide bomber of Pakistan-backed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). Nationwide protests erupted against the horrific attack even as the country bid goodbye to its bravehearts. Following the dastardly attack, India retaliated by launching air strike and bombing JeM camps located in PoK's Balakot. United Nations and several countries from across the globe condemned the terror attack and extended their support to India in the fight against terrorism.
Mumbai, Feb 14 (ANI): Veer Savarkar's grandson Ranjit Savarkar to file a defamation suit of Rs 100 crore against the Maharashtra Congress Committee in the Bombay High Court. "Maharashtra Congress has published articles against Savarkar to assassinate his character. I appeal the Chief Minister to take action. We've lodged two cases and will file a defamation suit of Rs 100 crore against Congress in Bombay High Court," said Ranjit Savarkar.

A family member of CRPF personnel who lost life in Pulwama attack said, "It's been year and we are still dealing with issues. We were promised 5 bigha piece of land, we have only received 2.5 till present. No infrastructure has been built in the name of martyr. All the promises were lie. There has been no arrangement from the government." Over 40 personnel lost their lives in dastardly attack on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama. The terror attack led to an air strike by Indian Air Force on the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) camp in Balakot.

New Delhi, Feb 14 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered veteran politician and country's former External Affairs Minister (EAM) Sushma Swaraj on her birth anniversary (February 14). "Remembering Sushma Ji. She epitomised dignity, decency and unwavering commitment to public service. Firmly rooted in Indian values and ethos, she had great dreams for our nation. She was an exceptional colleague and an outstanding Minister," tweeted Prime Minister Modi. Guwahati (Assam), Feb 14 (ANI): The Guwahati Police on February 14 has filed an FIR against a former official of National Register of Citizens (NRC). "A complaint has been launched by executive director of NRC. Allegation is that the employee has not shared the password of some email- IDs before leaving the organisation, in that connection a case has been registered; investigation is under process," said Guwahati's Police Commissioner, MP Gupta. Assam NRC list had gone offline from the official website recently. The final list was published on August 31, 2019.
Pulwama (Jammu and Kashmir), Feb 14 (ANI): Umesh Gopinath Jadhav, a resident of Maharashtra, was the special guest at the wreath-laying ceremony in Pulwama on February 14. The wreath-laying ceremony was held at CRPF's Lethpora camp. He took a 61000-km-long journey across India to meet families of the 40 jawans who lost their lives in attack, last year. He collected soil from their homes and cremation grounds. While speaking to mediapesons, Umesh Gopinath Jadhav said, "I'm proud that I met all the families of Pulwama martyrs, and sought their blessings. Parents lost their son, wives lost their husbands, children lost their fathers, friends lost their friends. I collected soil from their houses and their cremation grounds." Soil collected by Umesh from houses and cremation grounds of CRPF jawans, was offered at the memorial at Lethpora camp.
