Amritsar (Punjab), Feb 08 (ANI): Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has put up notices in Golden Temple (Sri Harmandir Sahib) to ban mobile phone videos. The notice reads, 'TikTok is prohibited here' after some TikTok videos were made inside temple premises. They have also urged the devotees to refrain themselves from such activities as Golden Temple is a place of worship. While speaking to ANI in Amritsar on February 08, the Manager of Sri Harmandir Sahib, Jaswinder Singh said, "We appeal to devotees coming here to refrain from such activities as it is a place of worship." "Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib yesterday (February 07) said if youth don't stop making videos then we will ask SGPC to ban mobile phones in Temple premises," he added.

"As soon as I came out from polling booth I saw son of AAP candidate arguing with the police over getting admission inside polling booth. At that moment, an AAP worker Harmesh used abusive language against me. Thank the police who arrested him immediately," said Alka Lamba. Ex-AAP MLA Alka Lamba had a verbal spat with an AAP worker at polling booth number -126 and 123. A scuffle broke out between AAP and Congress workers near Majnu ka Teela after Congress candidate Alka Lamba tried to slap an AAP worker.
Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh), Feb 08 (ANI): In the remembrance of braveheart veterinary Hyderabad doctor, who was gang-raped and burnt by four persons while she was returning to her home, a police station had been inaugurated in Rajahmundry. State Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on February 8 launched the first Disha Mahila Police Station of Andhra Pradesh. All four suspects in the case were killed in an encounter on December 6, 2019 at the same place where they had raped and burnt the girl. Disha police stations will aim at stringent punishment in case of crimes against women.
New Delhi, Feb 08 (ANI): The fitness trainer of a gym, where Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's husband Robert Vadra does his regular work out, was on Friday evening hit by a PCR van coming from the wrong side on the road. According to sources, the incident took place on the Lodhi road when PCR van allegedly coming from the wrong side hit Vipul Barik who was on his scooty. However, Robert Vadra stopped the PCR van and asked them to take the trainer to a hospital. Following which he was admitted to AIIMS for treatment.
