Unnao (UP), Dec 07 (ANI): Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in Unnao said that while Chief Minister says there's no place for criminals in state, but the state has turned into such a place that there's no place for women in the state. "Chief Minister is saying there is no place for criminals in the state but what he has turned the state into, I think there is no place for women here," said Priyanka Gandhi "Victim's whole family has been constantly harassed since last year. She met family members of rape survivor, who died last night after she was set ablaze by accused.

New Delhi, Dec 07 (ANI): Locals staged protest outside Safdarjung Hospital in the national capital on December 07. They protested against the Unnao rape case. Protestors demanded immediate action against the culprits. The victim was burnt alive on December 05 by one of the accused. She was admitted to a hospital in Lucknow and was later referred to Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital. She died on the night of December 06.
