Road construction of Kartarpur Corridor continues smoothly in Punjab's Gurdaspur

Gurdaspur (Punjab), Aug 30 (ANI): The road construction of the Kartarpur Corridor continued smoothly in Punjab's Gurdaspur. Kartarpur Corridor is a four-lane highway linking Gurdaspur-Amritsar road to the International borders for Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara in Pakistan. The corridor will connect the Sikh shrines of Dera Baba Nanak Sahib in Punjab and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur in Pakistan. Central government had approved development of Kartarpur Corridor project on Nov 22, last year.

Hyderabad, Aug 30 (ANI): Ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi, final touch-ups are being given to staggering 61-foot-tall 'Khairatabad Ganapathi' idol in Hyderabad. It is one of the tallest idols. Every year, lord Ganesha idol is built in different shapes and sizes in Hyderabad. This time, face of the idol is like sun with 12 heads, 24 hands and 7 horses in Suryudu Avatar. More than 150 artists from various states across the country joined hands to make the idol.

Spotify is testing 'Create podcast' button: Report

New Delhi, Aug 30 (ANI): Spotify is reportedly testing a new feature that would allow its users to easily publish their own podcasts on the audio streaming platform. App analyst Jane Manchun Wong uncovered the 'Create podcast' button in the Spotify app and shared a screenshot of the feature from her official Twitter account. The feature directs the users to Anchor, a podcast creation platform that Spotify recently acquired. With Anchor, users will have access to podcast creation tools such as recording, editing, background music, and voice messaging.

A vendor Naveen Jaiswal, on Thursday, told ANI, "We have different kinds of Ganesh models like Shivaji Ganesh, Saukar Ganesh, Dagdu Ganesh and I bring all these models from Mumbai. The models are available from Rs 500 to Rs 40,000. Due to heavy rains, there is an increase in the price of the models this year". Jaiswal added, "We are seeing demand for models made up of black and white marble this year". New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): Ministry of External Affairs Official Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar cleared India's stand on letter by Pakistan Minister Shireen Mazari to the United Nations. He said that the letter is not even worth the paper on which it was written. "Don't want to give credence to it by reacting," said Kumar. Pakistan's Federal Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari, in a letter on the withdrawal of Articles 35A and 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, addressed to multiple UN officials. He quoted Rahul Gandhi as saying that people were "dying" in Jammu and Kashmir.

Subhash Chandra Bose's family wants investigation on his mysterious death

Kolkata, Aug 29 (ANI): Kin of Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandra Kumar Bose on August 29 said that he and Bose's family wants a complete investigation of his mysterious death. He also informed that Bose's daughter Anita Bose Pfaff has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting him to conduct a DNA test of Bose's remains kept at a temple in Japan which would give a clear picture as to what happen to Subhash Chandra Bose after August 18, 1945. He also demands a special investigation team to be formed to analyze the documents which has been declassified by the NDA government. "Similarly, a special investigation team must be formed and this team must revisit the documents which has been declassified by the NDA government, they have to analyze the document, what we feel that proper analysis has not been done of the documents which have been released," said Bose. "Japan is holding three critical files pertaining to the disappearance angle of Netaji. These three files must be declassified
