MEA debunks shortage of medicines rumour in J-K

New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): Ministry of External Affairs Official Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar debunked reports of shortage of drugs in Jammu and Kashmir Valley. "Not even in one incident any hospital has reported shortage of drug or of any disposable item. Not a single life has been lost, not a single bullet has been fired. There has been gradual but positive improvement in situation on ground," said Kumar.

Sky cycling park to open soon in Manali

Manali (HP), Aug 29 (ANI): To give tourists a whole new experience, Forest Department and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports has joined hands and developed sky cycling park in Manali's Gulaba area. Surrounded by lush greenery and mesmerising landscape, this sky cycling path is at a height of 9,000 ft. This cycling path will be made open to public by mid of September. Manali is one of the prime tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh.

Govt determined to privatise Air India, people interested in acquiring it: Hardeep Puri

Constitution runs country not individual: Muslim Personal Law Board over BJP minister's statement

Lucknow (UP), Aug 29 (ANI): All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), reacted on Uttar Pradesh Minister's statement over rebuilding Ram Temple. Member of AIMPLB Khalid Rasheed Firangi Mahali said, "The whole country knows this matter is very sensitive, but there are some people who made irresponsible comment which is not correct. Constitution runs our country not on mine or yours power." On August 29, MoS of Uttar Pradesh Government, Pandit Sunil Bharala had said, "Temple of Lord Rama will definitely be built during the tenure of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He is a decisive man, and will be the one to build the temple with his own hands."

He said "It is important for them (Pakistan) to now start behaving like a normal neighbour. What do normal neighbours do? You don't push terrorists into a neighbouring country. You do normal talk, normal trade. This is not something which is happening from Pakistan."

J-K not acceptable as UT: JD(U) state president

Srinagar (J-K), Aug 29 (ANI): Janata Dal (United) (JDU) state president of Jammu and Kashmir, GM Shaheen said that people doesn't accept the status of union territory. "Central government should review their decision of making the Jammu and Kashmir a Union territory," GM Shaheen further added. On August 05, the resolution which divided Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh was passed in the Parliament.
