'OLX published ad without verification': Narmada Assistant Commissioner after man puts up 'Statue of Unity' for sale

Narmada (Gujarat), Apr 06 (ANI): Local administration has filed a police complaint in Gujarat's Narmada district after a man posted an advertisement on OLX, offering 'Statue of Unity' for sale. Complaint was filed in Kevadia town of Narmada district after a man offered to sell the statue at Rs 30,000 crore. While speaking to ANI, the Assistant Commissioner of Statue of Unity' in Narmada district, Nilesh Kumar Dubey said, "OLX published the advertisement without verification. We have filed a police complaint against him."

Wazir Hussain was airlifted by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans on April 05. He was resident of Panjgrain village in Rajouri district. CRPF has also extended help to Wazir's son Arif, who after hearing the news about his father, took off on a bicycle from Mumbai for his native place in Rajouri. Indian markets closed on account of Mahavir Jayanti, Asian shares rise

New Delhi, Apr 06 (ANI): The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India were shut on April 06 on account of Mahavir Jayanti, an important religious festival in Jainism that celebrates the birth of Lord Mahavir. Jain temples, however, remained closed amid the nationwide lockdown imposed by the government to arrest the rise of coronavirus infections. Wholesale commodity markets including metal and bullion were also shut. There was no trading activity in the forex and commodity futures markets as well. On April 3, the BSE S and P Sensex closed 674 points or 2.39 per cent down at 27,591 while the Nifty 50 slipped by 170 points or 2.06 per cent at 8,084. Chandigarh, Apr 06 (ANI): Dairy farmers are facing trouble as the cost of cattle feeding supplements has doubled due to nationwide lockdown in the wake of pandemic coronavirus. One of the dairy farmers said, "The cost of cattle feeding supplements rose doubled." "The biggest reason is that the animal doctors are not coming here," said another dairy farmer in Chandigarh. FIR registered against BJP MLA Dadarao Keche for allegedly violating lockdown norms
