New Delhi, Jan 04 (ANI): While addressing a press conference in the national capital over incident of mob pelting stones at Gurdwara Nankana Sahib in Pakistan on Jan 03, BJP leader Meenakashi Lekhi questioned Congress and Navjot Singh Sidhu's over his 'silence' on attack at Nankana Sahib Gurdwara. "Till now I haven't heard anything from Congress on the issue (attack at Nankana Sahib Gurudwara, Pakistan). I don't know where Sidhu (Navjot Singh Sidhu) paaji has fled? If even after all this he wants to hug ISI chief, then Congress should look into it," said Meenakshi Lekhi.

KL Rahul is solid at top order: Virat Kohli

Guwahati (Assam), Jan 04 (ANI): While addressing a public gathering in Assam's Guwahati on January 04, the working president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) JP Nadda spoke on political parties of India. He said, "There are around 2300 political parties in our country and out of which 54 parties are regional. These parties have been given recognition by the Election Commission (EC). There are seven parties which have been provided with national recognition." "The 54 regional parties have now been turned into 'parivaarik' (dynastic) parties and none of them are 'vaicharik' (ideological) parties no more. All regional parties have become dynastic parties by now," he added. "If you will keep aside Congress party at national level then rest all parties have become dynastic parties and only BJP is a party of ideology," JP Nadda further stated.

Shia Muslims protest in Lucknow against killing of Iranian General Soleimani

Lucknow (UP), Jan 05 (ANI): A group of Shia Muslims in Lucknow staged protest against the United States' drone attack on Iranian General Qasem Soleimani. Protesters raised slogans against America and held placards where they called Qasem a 'martyr'. Shia cleric Maulana Kalbe Jawad also present in the protest. Iran's top military commander General Qasem Soleimani was killed in a US drone strike in Baghdad. He was head of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force.

Speaking on it, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, "Nankana Sahib is the birth place of Guru Nanak Dev. Someone standing in the Gurudwara saying he will destroy it and make a Masjid, won't let Sikh live in Nankana and would change Nankana's name, no one has ever dared to do it in the world. Pakistani Government and Pakistani Army are involved in this violence. The proof is that after this major incident, PM Imran Khan's twitter stopped. He is mute. Does Imran Khan have right to call him a true Muslim? A true Muslim won't attack a minority." He further said, "I would like to urge PM Narendra Modi to do something as we have hopes from him only. PM Modi is the one who brought Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) for these minorities. Minorities believe that India will save them from any kind of violence."
