Girl goes missing days after accusing BJP's Chinmayanand of harassment in UP's Shahjahanpur

Shahjahanpur (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 27 (ANI): The girl, who had accused former union minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Swami Chinmayanand of harassing her, has gone missing in Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur. Chinmayanand is the director of the Swami Shukdevanand Law College in Shahjahanpur, where the girl was studying. On August 23, the girl had posted a video on social media alleging that BJP leader is threatening to kill her as she has some evidence against him. Requesting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for help, the girl said, "I am a student from SS College pursuing LLM. A big leader of the saint society, who has destroyed the lives of several girls, has been threatening me with life. I have all the evidence against him."The girl has been untraceable since August 24. Her parents have filed a missing complaint with the police and have blamed the college director and BJP leader for it. Her father said that she didn't tell them

Asaduddin Owaisi accuses Modi govt for taking 99.99% profit of RBI

16-ft long python kills goat in Mathura, later rescued by forest officials

Mathura (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 27 (ANI): A 16-ft long python was captured from a village in UP's Mathura. Locals got to know about the python, when he hunted a goat. Locals rushed to the spot but by then the python had already killed the goat. Nobody could gather the courage to capture the python. Later, forest officials were called and the rescue operation was conducted. Python was later released in Keetham forest.

16 killed after truck overturns on two tempos in UP's Shahjahanpur

Shahjahanpur (UP), Aug 27 (ANI): Atleast 16 people died in Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur after a truck overturned on two tempos on August 27. The injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken the cognizance of the incident and directed the district administration to provide medical care to the injured.
