While speaking to ANI, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, "Just got to know of the passing away of Arun Jaitley. He was an asset for the country, for the government, and for the party. I will leave for Delhi to pay tributes to Arun Jaitley." Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley died at the age of 66 at AIIMS in New Delhi on August 24.

Woman gives birth on state highway in MP's Burhanpur

Burhanpur (MP), Aug 24 (ANI): A woman gave birth to a girl-child on a state highway in Madhya Pradesh's Burhanpur after ambulance allegedly failed to arrive for taking the pregnant woman to the hospital. The incident took place on August 24. Husband of the woman took her to the hospital on a motorcycle when the ambulance failed to arrive. Woman was later taken to Shahpur Community Health Centre where the doctors attended the mother and the newborn.
