The acquisition is expected help Hello Curry to penetrate the breakfast and meal box segments based on subscription framework, through which First Meal offers various packages to customers ranging from one week and up to a month with customised food.
Raju Bhupati, CEO of Hello Curry, said their aim to reach 5,000 meals per day within next 6 months would be easily achieved through this acquisition. Hello Curry was started operations in early 2014 with a seed capital of Rs 6 crore from Sri Capital, owned by Sashi Reddi, while the First Meal was launched in the middle of 2015 by entrepreneur's Yuv Raj Poosarla among others.
