Fifa ranking: India climb 77 spots in 2 years to 96th, the best since 1996

The Indian team have achieved their best FIFA ranking since February 1996 after being placed 96th in the July rankings, released on Thursday.

India's best ranking till date is 94 which was attained in February 1996 while 99 was India's second-best which was achieved in November 1993.
