AAI to recruit 105 junior assistants in fire services

Last date for online application is July 19, 2017, and last date to pay fees is July 21, 2017

The (AAI) has released a notice regarding the recruitment of junior assistants in fire services. Interested candidates can apply online at the AAI’s official website http://www.aai.aero by July 19, 2017.

Last date of close of registration and submission of application (step-I and step-II) July 19, 2017

criteria
Candidate should have passed class 10 exams and also possess 3 years' approved regular diploma in mechanical/ automobile/ fire with minimum 50% marks. Those who have cleared their class 12 (regular study) with 50% marks can also apply. The age limit for candidates as on March 31 2017 is not less than 18 and not more than 30 years. Age relaxation as per government rule is applicable. Length of service extended by 3 years for ex-servicemen.

Additional weightage shall be given to a candidate possessing computer science as subject at 12th class level, NCC 'B' certificate, or relevant experience in an aviation/regular/industrial fire service, or basic fire fighting training course from fire training establishment, or sub fire officer course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.

Candidate should have valid heavy vehicle driving license, or valid medium vehicle license issued, or valid LMV license issued before March 31, 2016. In case candidates do not have heavy vehicle driving license, on qualifying the written test the candidate will need to produce a valid heavy vehicle driving license at the time of driving test. In case, the candidate fails to do so then he shall not be allowed to take driving test and be straightway disqualified for the further selection procedure.

Physical deformity, chronic diseases, colour blindness, night blindness, squint eye, flat foot, bow legs, knocking knee and refractive error will be considered as disqualification. Candidates must not have undergone major operation by virtue of which his physical fitness to work in fire service has been impaired and should be capable of undergoing physical strain for prolonged periods.

Application process
Candidates should have a valid personal e-mail id and mobile number. It should be kept active during the entire process. Registration number, password, and all other important communication will be sent on the same registered e-mail id.

Step-by-step guide on how to apply for AAI junior assistant (fire services) 2017:
Log on to the official website, aero
Click on the Careers page link
On the page, click on tab
Click on Online Registration of applications for the post of Jr. Assistant (Fire Services) in Eastern Region.
Read the instructions, check the box at the bottom of the page
Click on Start
Enter the requisite details in the fields provided, including personal and qualification details and declaration
Upload the necessary documents including signature, photograph and caste certificate (if applicable)
Check and confirm the details shown on the screen including application seq. number, date of birth DOB, name, mobile no, e-mail id, post and category, etc., then click on submit/confirm button.
Download and save the registration form
Take a printout for further reference
Proceed to payment

Candidate needs to re-login and click the tab Make Online Payment, which will be active after 24 hours of submission of the application. The payment of application fee can be done through online mode via debit card, credit card or Internet banking through collect system of State Bank of India.

Help desk
After depositing the application fee through online mode, candidates can check the status of application form after two days. In case the same is not reflecting, they have to mail to helpdesk, aaijafireservices.helpdesk@gmail.com, with scanned copy of e-receipt about the same.
