S K Bangur group Jayshree Chemicals Ltd today said it would float a rights issue to part finance its modernisation-cum-expansion project.

Executive director of Jayshree Chemicals D K Maheshwari said that Rs 150 crore would be needed for the modernisation and expansion plan.

Maheshwari further said the company would expand the manufacturing capacity of caustic soda and its co-product liquid chlorine.
