He also argued that no offence was made out against the accused under the sections he has been booked by the police
"The government and the civic corporation will do whatever they can to reduce Mumbai's pollution. The civic body has been directed to do cloud seeding if required," he said.
"The Mahayuti government will announce bonus for paddy crop in the Winter Session of the Maharashtra Legislature to be held in Nagpur in December," Shinde said
"I find it amusing considering I am the local MLA. Is it not within my purview to inspect and inaugurate a bridge?" he said
This move to order the bulldozers on the Mumbra Shakha was strongly opposed by Uddhav Thackeray as he led his group towards Mumbra to make a statement of intent on Saturday
The party has announced that Shinde will campaign for the BJP in the four states -Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Chhattisgarh- where Assembly elections are currently underway
Talking to reporters after attending a Diwali programme here, Shinde said Thackeray had to turn back when he attempted to visit the spot of the shakha' in Mumbra on Saturday

The meeting is scheduled to be held at the chief minister's residence, Varsha Bungalow.
The building was constructed in 1974 on land owned by the state government, which will now use it for its office space
CM Shinde said, "The campaign that was implemented in the Marathwada region for searching the Kunbi records will now be extended to the entire state"
The Maratha activist agreed to call off his protest and gave the state two months time to come good on its promise of reservation for the Maratha community

The government needs time for legal modalities to implement the reservation, Shinde said
The CM has appealed to people not to resort to violence and also asked political parties to avoid indulging in any activities that would worsen the situation
