Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Godrej Properties' total Income grew to Rs 1,638 crore in April-June period of this fiscal, from Rs 1,315 crore in the year-ago period.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.

Bajaj Auto on Sunday said its exports to Venezuela accounts for less than 1 per cent of its total overseas shipments.
The South American country has plunged into a crisis after the US captured its President, Nicolas Maduro, on Saturday.
"We do export to Venezuela. Pulsar and Boxer are very popular, but these exports are less than 1 per cent of our total exports," Rakesh Shamra, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto, said.
He was responding to a query about the implications on its operations in the country following the capture of Maduro by the US.
In the April-December period of FY26, Bajaj Auto's total exports stood at 16,39,971 units as against 13,73,595 units in the year-ago period, up 19 per cent.
Another Indian automaker, TVS Motor Company, said it has no meaningful presence in Venezuela.

Real estate company Sobha Ltd has reported a 52 per cent increase in sales bookings to Rs 2,115.2 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal, driven by higher volumes and price realisation amid strong housing demand.
Bengaluru-based Sobha Ltd sold properties worth Rs 1,388.6 crore in the year-ago period.
The company has "delivered a historic quarterly performance, achieving the highest ever real estate sales value of Rs 2,115 crore...," Sobha Ltd said in a regulatory filing on Saturday.
In terms of volumes, Sobha Ltd sold 13,70,340 sq ft during the October-December period of this fiscal compared to 10,16,367 sq ft in the corresponding period of the preceding financial year.
The average price realisation rose to Rs 15,436 per sq ft from Rs 13,663 per sq ft.

Private sector lender Bandhan Bank on Sunday reported a 10 per cent year-on-year growth in its loans and advances, totalling Rs 1,45,227 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2025.
The bank had reported loans and advances worth Rs 1,32,019 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
According to the provisional business update submitted to the stock exchanges, the bank's total deposits rose by 11.1 per cent to Rs 156,723 crore during the quarter under review, compared to Rs 141,002 crore as of December 31, 2024.
On a sequential basis, however, total deposits saw a marginal decline of 0.9 per cent from Rs 1,58,075 crore in September 2025 quarter.
The bank's retail franchise continued to show strength, with retail deposits (including CASA) increasing by 17.2 per cent year-on-year to Rs 1,13,420 crore. Retail term deposits witnessed a sharp surge of 35.8 per cent, reaching Rs 70,690 crore as against Rs 52,063 crore in the year-ago period.

Avenue Supermarts Ltd, which owns and operates retail chain D-Mart, has reported a 13.15 per cent rise in its standalone revenue from operations to Rs 17,612.62 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2025.
The company had registered Rs 15,565.23 crore revenue from operations a year ago, Avenue Supermarts informed BSE in a regulatory filing on Friday.
"Standalone Revenue from operations for the quarter ended (QE) December 31, 2025, stood at Rs 17,612.62 crores," said the filing on company update at the end of the quarter.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) plans to store captured carbon dioxide in depleted wells at Gujarat's Gandhar oilfield, marking the company's first full-scale Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) pilot and a major step in its decarbonisation strategy.
The pilot will use two abandoned onshore wells to inject around 100 tonnes of CO2 per day into subsurface hydrocarbon reservoirs, officials said.
CO2 will be captured from nearby industrial sources in the Dahej area as well as ONGC's own Hazira plant, transported to the Gandhar wells and injected underground to prevent it from entering the atmosphere. The project also aims to test using CO2 to enhance oil recovery, turning a potentially harmful greenhouse gas into a productive resource, they said.
ONGC had previously sourced CO2 from Indian Oil Corporation's Koyali refinery, roughly 80 km away, for injections into the well.
