What did you think of the Budget?

It has made my life a bit difficult, as service tax has gone up from 10.2 per cent to 12 per cent.

What does that mean professionally?

The hike in service tax gives me a headache, but the decision not to implement VAT on services is a good one.

How will your industry respond?

The rationalisation of FBT will be good for the industry, as there have been cuts in hospitality and travel.

How does it affect you personally?

The reduction of excise on small cars is welcome news, though there will be more chaos on the roads "" but overall it's good.

Will your husband be happy with the Budget?

The excise on cigarettes will make my husband very unhappy! All in all though, with no effect on LPG, kerosene or petroleum, it should make most people happy with the overall Budget.
