ABB wins Rs 165 cr power station order in Uttarakhand

ABB India has won a Rs 165 crore order from Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Ltd for three substations' transmission grids.

ABB India will design, supply, install and commission the substations, rated at 132 kV, 220 kV and 400 kV, as well as transformers and other power equipment. The substations are scheduled for completion by 2011.

Including this order, ABB India has won orders close to Rs 1,000 crore during the past quarter.
