| Ansal Prop net up 166% |
| Real estate company Ansal Properties and Infrastructure (APIL) reported a net profit of Rs 11.72 crore, indicating 166 per cent growth, for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 over the Rs 4.4 crore net profit posted in the corresponding period last year. |
| The company's turnover grew 37 per cent to Rs 131.18 crore from last year's Rs 95.77 crore. |
| The net profit for the full year 2005-06 stood at Rs 40.56 crore, up 198 per cent from Rs 13.62 crore in the previous financial year. The turnover rose 67 per cent to Rs 355.14 crore in the year ended March 2006 from Rs 212.88 crore in 2004-05. |
| McNally Bharat net up 129% |
| McNally Bharat Engineering posted 129.21 per cent growth in net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 to Rs 2.04 crore from Rs 89 lakh in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. |
| The net profit for the full year ended March 2006 zoomed 100.38 per cent to Rs 5.25 crore from Rs 2.62 crore posted in the previous financial year. Its turnover too increased to Rs 335.21 crore in 2005-06 from Rs 284.9 crore in 2004-05, up 17.65 per cent. |
| McLeod Russel net at Rs 23 cr |
| McLeod Russel India of the B M Khaitan group posted a net profit of Rs 22.92 crore in the financial year ended March 31, 2006 compared with a loss of Rs 19.75 crore in the previous financial year. |
| The turnover zoomed 59.73 per cent to Rs 511.52 crore from Rs 320.24 crore in 2004-05. |
