Asahi Songwon Q4 net up 40%

City-based pigments maker, Asahi Sangwon Colours Limited (ASCL) has registered 40 per cent growth in the net profits for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011 to Rs 6.51 crore from Rs 4.66 crore in the corresponding period last year. The company’s net sales for the fourth quarter rose 9.91 per cent to Rs 47.46 crores over Rs 43.18 crores in the previous year. "The company is going for modernization and ex-pansion project involving a capital expenditure of Rs 40 crores in the fiscal year 2011-12," said Munjal Jaykrishna, joint managing director of the company.
