Ashok Leyland sales decline 27% in November

Company sold 5,375 units in the month compared to 7,370 units in year ago period

Hinduja Group flagship Ashok Leyland Ltd has posted a decrease of 27% in total sales at 5,375 units during the month of November, 2013, as compared to 7,370 units in the same month last year.

 

The sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicle products was at 2,715 units during the month, as against 4,487 units for the same month last year, registering a drop of 39.5%.

 

The Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) product segment, consisting of Dost and Stile, has posted a sales of 2,660 units, as compared to 2,883 units during the same period of previous year, posting a drop of 7.73%.
