Blue Star to buy plumbing contracting firm

Refrigeration company Blue Star today said it will acquire the plumbing contracting business of DS Gupta Constructions Pvt Ltd. Blue Star did not disclose the aquisition value.

Blue Star said it has appointed a four member committee to conclude the transaction by July 15 this year. With the acquisition, Blue Star will be able to provide engineering, mechanical and plumbing contracts for commercial and infrastructure projects, the company said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
