CanvasM Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tech Mahindra and provider of mobile value-added services and solutions, in association with telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has launched Saral Rozgar, a job portal service for the blue collar workers.
Skilled, semi-skilled and un-skilled manual labourers in the country can now easily register themselves on the portal and apply for jobs through a simple voice call by dialling 54141 on their Airtel mobile number. Potential employers and job providers can access this data of registered workers by logging on to the website or on voice call by dialing 54141.
“As part of CanvasM’s focus on minimising the digital divide, we have developed India’s first such platform which combines the features of internet and voice call to create a first ever job market place service for blue collar workers,” said Jagdish Mitra, CEO of CanvasM Technologies.
Airtel mobile customers can subscribe the service for monthly rental of Rs 30.
