Capgemini acquires Dutch IT company
Capgemini reached today an agreement in principle with Getronics PinkRoccade(GPR) for the acquisition of Getronics PinkRoccade Business Application Services BV (BAS BV) for €255 million (Rs 1685.5 crore) paid in cash on Capgemini own resources.
BAS BV had a turnover of €300 million (Rs 1984.2 crore) in 2007 with a headcount of 2,200.
The transaction should be finalised by the end of the year, subject to the approval of the European Commission and to the consultation of the relevant Workers Council.
