Cholamandalam net profit up 48%

Murugappa Group firm Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Ltd has posted a growth of 47.9 per cent in net profit for the quarter ended March 31, at Rs 136.57 crore against Rs 92.36 crore for the same quarter of the previous financial year. The income from operations has shown a growth of 11.6 per cent to Rs 941.73 crore for the quarter, compared to Rs 844.03 crore for the same quarter of previous financial year.
