Indian Petrochemicals Corporation: In terms of regulation 7(3) of Sebi, (substantial acquisition of shares and takeovers) regulations 1997, the company has informed that M/s Reliance Petroinvestments Ltd has acquired 49645125 (20 per cent) (out of this 67975 shares tendered by OCBS/NRIs would be acquired after obtaining permission from the RBI) shares on 31/08/2002 and 02/09/2002 consequent upon the open offer by Reliance Petroinvestments. After this acquisition their shareholding in the company is 114183787 (46 per cent) shares in the company.
