Deccan Chronicle hits life-time high

Deccan Chronicle Holdings, owner of Andhra Pradesh's highest-circulated English daily, today hit a life-time high after the company announced that it would consider splitting each share into five.
 
The stock went up to the day's high of Rs 835.90 on the BSE. The stock closed at Rs 814.90 on the BSE, 4.82 per cent higher than yesterday's close of Rs 777.45.
 
On the NSE, it closed at Rs 812.45, 4.64 per cent higher than yesterday's close of Rs 776.40.
