Dhampur Sugar Oct-Dec quarter net down 91%

Dhampur Sugar Mills today reported a net profit of Rs 7.41 crore for the quarter ended on December 31, 2010, a 91 per cent decline over the corresponding period in the previous year.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 82.53 crore for the quarter ended on December 31, 2009, Dhampur Sugar Mills said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.

The company's total sales rose by 47.43 per cent to Rs 502.95 crore during the quarter (October-December period) under consideration, as compare to Rs 341.14 crore in the corresponding period.
