Ahmedabad-based Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals posted an 83 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ended December 31, at Rs 10.55 crore on a year-on-year basis, while the company's total income from operations saw a marginal rise to Rs 104.4 crore from Rs 103.59 crore in the same period last year.
For the nine month period, the company saw a 2 per cent decline in total income from operations to Rs 315.8 crore, while its net profit too fell from Rs 23.35 crore to Rs 16.99 crore, down 27 per cent.
On a consolidated basis, Dishman posted a 3 per cent drop in total income for the quarter ending December 31, to Rs 314.26 crore, while its net profit dipped marginally from Rs 16.41 crore in Q3FY13 to Rs 15.15 crore in Q3FY14. For the nine month period, however, on a consolidated basis, Dishman posted a 4.3 per cent rise in total income from operations to Rs 975.9 crore, and its net profit grew 6 per cent to Rs 86.67 crore.
