Eicher Motors today posted 62.74% rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 107.43 crore for the third quarter ended September 30, 2013.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 66.01 crore during the same period of previous year.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 1,661.64 crore during the third quarter, compared to Rs 1,470.70 crore during the same period of last year, Eicher Motors said in a filing to the BSE.
The company follows January-December financial year.
On a standalone basis, the company posted a net profit of Rs 61.79 crore for the third quarter, as against Rs 32.97 crore in the same period of previous year.
Shares of Eicher Motors today closed at Rs 4,011.80 on the BSE, up 1.31% from its previous close.
