The objective is to build and strengthen the motorsport culture by creating products designed on the basis of Indian consumer's specifications, Rannvijay said.
"Today formal shoes as a category has reduced as not many people are wearing these shoes on daily basis...Regular people wear sports shoes and sneakers even to go to office...the category is growing," Anupam Sehgal, head marketing, Cravatex Brands Limited, said.
Cravatex Brands is official distributor of Fila products in the country.
He said that online as a category is growing and will continue to grow.
However, the offline category is where consumers also gets to see and feel the product, he said adding that "India is a touch and feel market.
