Gangotri in pact with Swiss-based Trailer

Gangotri Textiles, which owns 'Tibre' brand, has entered into an alliance with Switzerland-based Trailer Ltd for joint-marketing and branding both in Europe and in Asia.

In an announcement to the stock exchange, Gangotri Textiles said that 'Trailer' and 'Tibre' would open exclusive retail stores in Europe and Asia including India, which would retail both Tibre and Trailer brands. Currently, Tibre is selling in 750 multibrand outlets in India. Gangotri plans to take its brand nationally and intends to launch men's shirts and women's wear also.

Trailer, a Switzerland brand, is available across 250 multibrand outlets in Europe. The company's productline includes jeans, T-shirts and fashions for men and women. In India, it has knitting units.
