HCC bags Rs 1,941 crore J&K order

Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) in consortium with SPAS of Norway and Ozaltin of Turkey have received a contract from the government of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) for execution of 1200 MW Sawalkote Hydro Project on EPC basis.

According to a release issued by HCC to the BSE, the company's share in the consortium is pegged at Rs 1,940.63 crore. The total order stands at Rs 4,312.50 crore and has to be executed with seven-half years.
