| HCC net up at Rs 35.66 cr |
| Hindustan Construction Company has posted a 1,178 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 35.66 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year ended September 2005 compared with Rs Rs 2.79 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The impressive show was due to an extra-ordinary income of Rs 40 crore . |
| The company recorded this income from the transfer of development rights of land at Vikhroli, Mumbai to its wholly-owned subsidiary. HCC reported a 6 per cent growth of in turnover to Rs 311.74 crore from Rs 293.81 crore. |
| Himatsingka net up 15% |
| Himatsingka Seide has registered a net profit of Rs 13.24 crore for Q2 on the current fiscal. This is an increase of 15.13 per cent from Rs 11.50 crore for the corrresponding period of FY05. Net sales increased by 9.9 per cent to Rs 38.06 crore from 34.63 crore. |
| The PBIDT saw a 7.04 per cent increase to Rs 17.63 crore from Rs 16.47 crore. EPS has increased to Rs 6.93 from Rs 6.02 for the corresponding period last year. |
| Industrial Organics net up 64% |
| For the quarter ended September 2005 in the current financial year, Industrial Organics' net profit surged 64 per cent to Rs 1.78 crore, compared with Rs 1.08 crore in the corresponding period last year. Net income rose to Rs 33.29 crore compared with Rs 17.56 crore last year, a rise of 90 per cent. |
