HMT(Int) training centre in Kyrgyzstan

| HMT(International), the wholly-owned subsidiary of HMT Limited, is going to set up a software training centre in Kyrgyzstan. The project Indo-Kyrgyz Centre for Information Technology was being implemented under the grant of the Indian government, HMT (Int)'s managing director Mahendra Kumar informed Business Standard here. |
| He said an agreement in this regard was signed between him and the joint secretary, Eurasia, ministry of external affairs in New Delhi recently. As per the agreement, HMT (Int) would be supplying the computers and peripherals besides setting up networking infrastructure required for imparting training to the people in the country. |
| Kumar said HMT(Int) will soon depute its experts for the running of the centre for a period of two years. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the current fiscal. |
| HMT(Int), which has set up many engineering projects in developing countries, has carved a niche for itself in the field of technical training. |
| It had set up many training centres in various developing countries such as Nigeria, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Senegal and Turkmenistan, company sources informed. |
