Union Finance minister Arun Jaitley today launched State Bank of India's mobile wallet- State Bank 'Buddy' in collaboration with Accenture and MasterCard. He also unveiled brand logo and website for SBI Foundation, a arm set up to implement corporate social responsibility (CSR) of the State Bank of India group.
The 'Buddy' application will be available for all customers irrespective of the bank the customer is banking with or card customer is using. The application will be available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The Mobile Wallet comes with features like send money to registered and new users, recharge and pay bills instantly also book for movie tickets and flights.

Meanwhile, SBI Foundation will promote aid, and encourage activites in areas like education, environment, health, women empowerment and children welfare.
SBI spends one per cent of profit on the CSR activities. SBI Foundation is section eight company registered under Companies Act. It gave Rs 97.37 lakh to Wockhardt Foundation for implementing the sanitation project in Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan. It also gave Rs 2.79 crore to Agastya International Foundation which runs
the mobile hands-on- science program for economically disadvantaged children and teachers in rural India.
The foundation will use money to set up 33 Science Centres in Maharashtra and funding seven iMobile Labs and eight Lab-on-a bike in Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand and other states.
