The officials were reportedly slapped and beaten with sticks as they refused to pay commission against the work undertaken by their company at Bokaro Steel Plant.
The officials received a call from the former MLA to appear before him immediately and were warned that if they failed, they would face physical assault.
However, the duo did not meet the former MLA.
Later, three men claiming to represent the former MLA forced the officials to meet their boss.
The former MLA shouted at them for not paying him commission and not allotting small contracts to his men for the works undertaken by the company.
The former MLA's son then abused the officials and assaulted them in front of his father.
