Malaysia for tie-up with Wipro

| A high-power Malaysian delegation, during its recent visit to the Wipro campus in Bangalore is understood to have discussed strategic partnership opportunities leveraging the IT experience of Wipro. |
| The delegation, led by Yang Amat Berhormat, deputy prime minister and minister of defence and senior Malaysian government officials, had called on Wipro chairman Ajim Premji, a company statement said. |
| "The visit to Wipro campus provided the Malaysian delegation an opportunity to view the company's IT services and practices. Wipro's journey towards becoming a leading IT services and independent R&D services provider to corporations globally is something we can emulate," Berhormat said in a statement. |
| Wipro chairman Azim Premji said that it was nice that the deputy premier and his team visited the campus. "Wipro has a presence in Malaysia and this meeting strengthened our relationship further," he added. |
| According to Rajat Mathur, chief executive, business solutions and head, international operations of Wipro's ASEAN, Middle East and APAC business unit, there is a tremendous synergy in the Malaysian market and the company aimed to strengthen the partnerships in the years to come. |
| "Our company is extremely committed to building a strong customer base in Malaysia," he said. |
