Manjeera Consts, Pitti Laminations & Amara Raja Q3 results

Manjeera Consts net down 22%

Hyderabad-based Manjeera Constructions Limited posted a 21.81 per cent dip in net profit to Rs 4.23 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011, against Rs 5.41 crore for the same quarter last year. Net sales grew 1.07 per cent to Rs 46.11 crore, as against Rs 45.62 crore. Expenditure increased 5.81 per cent to Rs 40.62 crore from Rs 38.39 crore .

Pitti Laminations net up

Hyderabad-based Pitti Laminations Limited reported over two-fold jump in net profit to Rs 6.11 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011, as against Rs 2.61 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income grew 47.64 per cent to Rs 103.23 crore from Rs 69.92 crore, a year ago.

 

Amara Raja Q3 net rises 66%

Industrial and automotive battery major Amara Raja Batteries Limited reported a 65.99 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 65.9 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011, as compared with Rs 39.7 crore in the same period last year. Net sales went up 44 per cent to Rs 612 crore, as against Rs 425 crore. The company reported highest-ever revenue and profit in this quarter, a release said.
