Natco Pharma Limited has become first company in country to receive approval for generic Daclatasvir Dihydrochloride (Daclatasvir) tablets, 30mg & 60mg, from the Drugs Controller General (India).
Daclatasvir is used for treatment of patients with chronic hepatitis C.
Natco will market generic Daclatasvir under its own brand Natdac, and through its strategic partners in country.
The drug to be launched immediately will be priced at Rs 6,000 and Rs 4,000 for 60mg and 30mg strengths respectively for a bottle of 28 tablets, the company said in a BSE filing on Monday.
IL&FS bags Metro rail order
Hyderabad-based IL&FS Engineering Construction Company Limited has received a letter of acceptance for construction of a metro rail project in Gujarat.
The project worth Rs 374.64 crore was awarded by Gandhinagar & Ahmedabad Company Limited and is to be completed in 120 weeks from the date of issue of LoA.
IL&FS is currently executing three merto rail projects worth Rs 700 crore in Bengaluru, Gurgaon and Kolkata.
