Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), a listed public sector company, has received approval for development of 1,000 Mw (2 projects of 500 Mw each) coal-based thermal power project at a cost of Rs 4,909.54 crore, the company said in a communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
