Police custody of Gopalakrishnam Raju granted

The sixth additional chief metropolitan magistrate here on Thursday ordered police custody of SRSR Holding general manager V Gopalakrishnam Raju till January 31.

According to the police, he had admitted to transferring documents of various land deals done by Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju and his family.

The police have seized five boxes of original documents of companies floated by Raju family members. Gopalakrishnam Raju has been working for Ramalinga Raju for over two decades.

He also said he handled various land documents for Maytas as well, the police probing the Satyam fraud case stated.
